OK shut off my 02 sport trac to use the mail key today and when I got back in it wouldnt start. I would turn the key and it would try to start over but would actually never fire. Almost seemed like the fuel pump had gone or a clogged fuel filter. I pushed it to my normal parkin spot(with my wifes steering
) and checked the fluids I hadnt relized I was over a quart low on oil. I also noticed my mileage from this tank stunk and thought I may have had some watery gas since I was at 1/4 tank. So long story short I ran to the gas station and put in a quart of oil and presto she starts right up and ran fine. Now we will see tomorrow if she starts again. Does the sport trac have a low oil sensor like some lawnmower engines. If not what could have been the problem. Thanx
