Quick help

Hey guys!!! So out of all the things Ive done to my Trac, Im puzzled at this. Im trying to remove my map lights to swap them out with some LEDs and I cant get them out!! The socket is loose but the bulb seems to be larger than the hole!! I know Ive had these out in the past and never had an issue with it! I messed with one enough, it popped in my hand and really didnt like that approach! So what do you think?
