ok my girlfriend wants to buy me a new radio for my trac.

i kinda know what i want but i have a couple questions.

1 does crutchfield have the connectors so there are no wires to cut.

2 will the amp and sub still work? or do i have to rewire something.

3 i see some radios say.

The factory radio cannot be reinstalled properly once sub-dash modifications are made.

am i stuck leaving this with the truck when i sell or can the stock radio be put back in.

thanks

Crutchfiled will send a wire harness and faceplate adapter free with radio purchase. I know when I installed a Pioneer AVIC90BT in my '07 I lost factory sub. The new radio sound quality along with replacement Polk door speakers I didn't notice the sub missing.

I didn't upgrade my '02 ST radio so I can't answer the dash mod question.

I replaced my OEM stereo with the Pioneer DEH-33HD. Everything i needed came with it and fit as advertised but I don't have an amp or sub. You might want to call their customer service.

Some of the double din units require some cutting of the dash. I think there's something about it in the projects section.
