I took my radio out and got a pioneer about a year ago, when i went to put the stock one back in, it didnt work. For around a month it sat about 6 inches away from one of my 12 inch subwoofers and im thinking it did some damge. When i plugged it in it didnt make any noise or light up or anything. Did permanently damage it?

I would think so. Just bouncing around probably cracked a board or a component solder joint. Not blasting you but it was improperly stored.

Double check the wiring jack for broken wire or bent prongs. Also fuses..

Yeah i had in a box full of packing peanuts(to be safe in case i bumped it) and when i bought the sub i left it in the box and put it on the shelf directly above the radio. I guess not being able to see what was in the box made me not even realize what i did.
