Daughter hit a Deer in her Taurus, Still too early to see what insurance will pay, but just looking around to see what I can find... So I see this ad, (below link)

This guy says IN HIS AD that he RAISED the price on it because he had so many calls.

Really? You offer something for sale at one price, then when you get good response to the ad you RAISE the price???

I hope NO ONE buys this even for less than he originally wanted... :fire:

Caveat emptor.

Ultimately until one has an accepted offer the price is flexible....right? I would have done some research as a seller and set the max price and left it there, but what the heck, it takes all kinds.

Even at 1k it doesn't sound like that good a deal for the buyer. Sounds like a headache of a car to me.

Good luck with the search.

Sorry, it may be just me but that grand turd is only worth scrap price of about $250, that's with the $40 for cats. I've seen people do that B.S. for vehicles here in Pittsburgh too.:smack::smack:

For clarification, I had no intention of buying this car, I just couldnt believe this person not only raised the price, but stated it in the ad.. What a putz...

I'm not sure what is the funniest part: that he admits to raising the price or that he thinks that thing is worth $1500.

Here's one of my favorite local ads. Check out the EXPERT advise on buying a car.

Yeah....determine the value of the car without inspecting it....:banghead:

You shoud call him up and tell him that vehicle is worth more like 2500.00 and not a penny less...LOL
