rattle

hey folks well I have gotten the infamous rattle, have 37,000 on my st. it only does it while accelerating,and on a hill, most of the time ? it's almost like I'm driving a diesel truck, not sure if it's a timing issue or jsut bad gas ?, any info would be helpful

Could be the timing chain rattle or some engine pinging... Try a higher octane gas, if it goes away then that was it, IF not the timing chain is rattling..
