i dont know what it is but there is something rattling in my rear headrest..it sounds like pieces of plastic or something just rattling around inside of them...if any of yall know what this is or what it could be please let me know...regardless of what it is im still gonna take it in to get it fixed, but i would just like to know what it is or could be...thanks

I have the same rattle and I found it last week it is the two storage boxes behind the rear seats take them out and take toe truck for a ride and you will find that the noise will be gone what I did to fix the problem is install some foam behind the so when they close they have some pressure aganst them and that will stop the rattle..

I'm not sure if Baker's problem is the same as we are having. It is definately the headrest. sounds like a button in a plastic bottle in the headrest. There has got to be some sort of clip that has come loose in there or something. I don't hear it while driving, but I noticed it when I was folding the seat down the other day. No clue what is is but I don't want to go ripping the thing apart to figure it out. If you figure it out, please let me know what it is.

Mine did the same thing. It turned out to be the plastic 'frame?' under the upholstery on the right rear headrest. The 'frame' that makes the shape of the headrest. It was broken at one of the pivot points and the broken piece was rattling around inside. The upholstery is just held on with velcro. My Trac was still under warranty when I found this, so the dealer replaced it no charge.

I basically had the same problem as Fred (above). Some stupid little piece of plastic, or maybe a screw, fell in there and that's what was rattling. If your trucks are still under warranty, then have them replace the entire headrest. But if your warranty expired, try turning the volume up on your stereo when driving. lol.

Anyways, no worries, i don't think it's anything major.
