Even that site gets it wrong. The first photo is real. However, it was spread through the internet by people who claimed that it was far bigger than it is, and those accompanying claims were false. The photo makes the spider look bigger than it is because of it being taken in front of a soldier's leg. However, when you compare it to the sleeve cuff on the right side of the photo, you see that it is only a couple inches long.
I've attached a link with some supporting evidence, but had seen that one in many places before, both by people misled by the photo, and by epople rebutting them.
