When I had my Ranger and Gen 1 Trac I would just go to the Valvoline Qwicky Lube and they'd do it with a suction machine for $49.99. At that price it's not worth the hassle of doing it myself. BTW, that's the only way to do the front diff on a 4x4 anyway. (Gen 2's have a drain plug on the rear. :grin: )
