How much fluid does the rear differential hold? I have axle code 42 which I believe is the non-limited slip if that matters. What fluid do you guys recommend? I have 175,000 on my vehicle so I figure it's time to change it. Thanks.

So, I got the search to work for me. Looks like it will take 3 quarts of 75w90. Does that sound right?

Yes, 5.5 pints so you'll need 3 quarts. I recommend AMSOIL Severe Gear in either 75W-90 or 75W-110 viscosity. Service life of this fluid is 100K miles. Contact me if you'd like to get it at wholesale cost.
