What rear end do we have in the 07?8.8 inch or the 8 inch?I want more acceleration thinking about a 3.89 or 4.11,with overdrive and 6 speeds shouldnt hurt milege much.

Correct 8.8 with;

3.55 ratio with the V8

3.73 ratio with the 4.0 V6

Just a head's up... regearing the semi-float 8.8 usually runs $900-$1300, and although I have not idea how difficult it would be in the IRS 8.8... it could easily be alot more depending on shop. I'm assuming the R&P center section diff. is the same so I'd want to figure if the costs are more or less for the IRS.
