Hi everyone,

How do I replace the rear license plate bulb? Does the black piece uscrew or do I use a flathead and pop it out?

I don't want to crack the black piece as others have done.

Thanks.

You have to unhook from the back, then push out. It's kinda wierd, almost like they expect you to pay them to replace a little bulb...I broke mine, but glued it back in, and it's held good for 2 years.

Use flat head to pop off the cover, you should be able to see the slot for it on the slope side of the cover. Then using the flat head you push in the two tabs on either side and you should be able to pull it out. Twist the light harness from the assembly and pull out the bulb and replace.

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO.

You get under the Trac, reach into the bumper from behind the plate, and there are 2 twist lock sockets. Twist them, pull out, pull the bulbs out of the sockets, insert new #194's, then push them back in and twist lock.

I used white led's for mine.
