rear window molding (again)

I posted earlier about this....thanks for the replies....I was able to take apart the back of the truck and get the molding pice out. It was sitting at the bottom.



However, I'm not sure how this goes back in place or what holds it in place. Is there suppose to be some type of glue that holds it in place?



This is the piece that is on the outside of the back window.



Also, is it bad or going to hurt anything without that piece in there? When water gets in there...are there drain hole for the water to go out?
