Email from Ford Dealer I contacted two years ago when I got my ST:



NOTHING SPECIFICALLY ABOUT THE ST, THOUGH.



Ford announced this morning that it is increasing the rebates on selected 2006 model year trucks and SUVs.





The Ford F-150 rebates increased a thousand dollars. Regular Cabs went from $4,000 to $5,000. SuperCabs went from $4,500 to $5,500. And the SuperCrew has increased from $3,500 to $4,500



Rebates on 2006 model year Super Duty trucks with the gas engine increased from $3,000 to $4,000.



Ford added $750 to the rebate on 2006 model year Ranger SuperCabs only. The rebate on SuperCabs was $3,000 but has been increased to $3,750.





The rebate on the 2006 model year Explorer increased from $3,000 to $3,500.





These enhanced 2006 model year rebates end on October 31st, so don't wait!





Ford also announced an enhancement to the rebate on the 2007 model year SuperDuty (gas only).





By adding $1000 to the rebate on gas powered 2007 model year SuperDuty trucks, it went from $1,500 to $2,500.

Ford announced this morning that it is increasing the rebates on selected 2006 model year trucks and SUVs.

That would be because there are no 06 STs. They are just trying to move old stock to make way for 07s. I get one, or something similar, almost weekly.

DOH! You are right. Forgot there were no '06s. That is what happens when you get old. Gota wait a year for the '07s to go on sale.
