I finally finished building my bar (which you may remember me asking about the clear material I used for the top)

It's 6x2 with about 1500 caps in the top.

The past few weeks my wife has been on convelescent leave from work since she broke her hand in 3 spots and was unable to do her routine duties. So we decided to take a trip up to Sequoia and Yosemite National Parks. I couldn't help but get picture of the ST in the big sequoias.

The ST is like a toy between the huge trees.

Nice pics JD. Their are some bigger Giant Sequias on the Northern California coast. You'll really enjoy it when you get up there. Make sure you stop at Richardson's Grove State Park in the heart of the coastal Redwoods.

We considered heading up to the Redwoods, but it was going to be another 2-3 hours each way. I perfer to spend my time enjoying the scenery and not the I-5



It also turns out that the largest tree by wood volume is in Sequoia (the Sherman) and also the largest around is in Sequoia (the Grant) the Redwoods has the Tallest tree.



We also had to hit Yosemite since my wife and I are both rock climbers (not so much any more but we worked our way through college working in a climbing gym)
