I'm getting ready to change the gear oil in my differential ('05 limited slip 4.10). Manual says to refill it to 1/4" to 9/16" below the fill plug. Any tips on how to do that? It's hard to see when the fluid is at that level. On other vehicles I've always filled the differential level to the plug (until it runs out). Will this harm anything to do this?

thx,

I just fill them till it drips out of the hole, then Wait till it stops and insert the plug..
