Remote start

Just wondering who has remote start and what they paid to have it installed, I got a quate of 425 complete. Just looking for comparisons.

That seems a little bit high. I haven't gotten around to getting mine yet, but my local car audio and accessory shopped quoted me about $200 for a viper remote start, and another $25 for the Ford PATS security override, installed.



For around $400 installed, you can get a good viper alarm/remote start combo.



I would look around a little bit more and try to find some cheaper places.

425 is pretty reasonable in my neck of the woods for a Viper/Clifford alarm with remote start, PATS bypass, LCD pager/remote.

here in bergen county NJ, the high price capital of the world, I paid $500 for the viper alarm/autostarter with the Mini remote with LCD screen installed.

WOW, I guess it is pretty cheap to live in Va Beach... viper remote combo installed for 149.00

$70(CDN) for cheap bulldog, $0 for installation, did it myself 3 years ago, still works great, locks/unlocks all 4 doors at once

Bill, that's about what it runs here in Punxsy Pa also.



Duece, too bad you're not closer. I'd do it for ya for nothing. Cost you just the unit. (I could even save you money there but it wouldn't be Viper)
