Anyone have any manuals or advice on how to replace the parking brake shoes on a Gen II ('07) Trac?
My Trac's parking brake provides nearly no resistance to moving the vehicle when fully engaged. The pedal tightens up at the bottom of the stroke (so I don't think it needs adjustment), but rather there doesn't seem to be any friction when engaging the parking brake all the way.
Thanks for any advice, diagrams, info, etc. I might try to tackle this over the weekend, but I don't want to unleash a world of trouble from not being prepared. I've replaced brakes (disc and drum) on a variety of cars, but I've never had to open up the parking brake on a rear-disc vehicle before).
