Replace seats

We just bought an 01 Sport Trac. We were going to have all the seats redone in leather, but dont really like the highback front bucket seats and thought we would just replace the front seats and cover the back. My husband just went into the Airforce so I can't ask him. What seat applications/years will also fit the 01 sport trac. Mountaineer will fit? Regular explorer? What year range? How difficult will it be to install electric seats if we have manual now?

i know seats out of 96 up explorer will work and its not hard 4 to 5 bolts per seat

If you cahnge the seats out, two questions:



1) What color seat do you have now?



2) If it's the tan/sand/whatever color from '01-'02, what condition is the driver's bottom cushion in?



I need a replacement. However, I have the adjustable headrest so I dunno if the seats would be the same.
