replaced vac elbow now i can hear something sucking

i replaced the vac elbow and thought that would cure it...it did have a crack in it bad one....and now i hear something sucking what could that be it comes when i barely tap the gas is when i hear it

Did you replace it with a factory part from Ford? If not, the hose you used might not be strong enough and it could be collapsing under the vacum...just a thought.

maybe not a tight seal, at the clamp.... Maybe the new hose split while installing.... make sure you didnot knock any other hoses or tubings loose...That is a tight work area...

the hose i installed in a better hose stronger built bought it at a local auto part store

Look for a hose that you may have knocked off while installing the replacement hose.
