Replacing Belt

The Dealer want 84.00 to replace my Serpentine Belt . Should i have them do it or is it something i can do myself. I've change the shocks and done a few mod myself.:unsure:

You could probably do it yourself.

Just take a good look at the belt routing BEFORE you take it apart.

Change it your self, easy to do. Follow the diagram for routing, that is under the hood. My sugestion is to get a Gates brand belt. If you have O'Rielys in your area they give a livetime warranty on Gates. Should be around $35...

All you need is a socket ratchet, to lift the spring loaded tensior...

if you want, you can buy or rent a serpentine belt tool. Gives you a bit more leverage.
