I bought my sport trac used with 80,000 miles on it and now has 100,000 miles. I"m going to replace the upper and lower radiatior hoses, but the other smaller coolant hoses don't look that easy to replace. All the hoses have the Ford part number or logo on them, so I doubt they were ever replaced.

The lower hose coming out of the firewall has a plastic Tee in it with a smaller hose going behind the engine to the other side. Is this a special hose assembly I would need to buy from Ford? I don't see how the Tee can be removed from hose if I buy stock hose from the auto parts store.

Should I replace all the hoses or just the large Radiator hoses? Also bought the Prestone Flush kit with a Tee assembly, does this flush kit really work.?

Thanks for the help.

Years and milage. Most techs will replace every hose. I always have. Safe than sorry. You cant tell about the inside of the hoses. Todays hoses will look good forever on the outside. The small hose to the back has an piece going around the pcv. I dont know why. First for me.
