I'm running low on car wash soap and want to know if y'all have any recommendations for, or warnings to stay away from, any particular brand.

I know not to use dish soap unless trying to strip off wax, but do the different brands of car wash soap really matter or can I buy what's on sale/cheapest?

Have you found any difference?

:)

I just buy that blue stuff available at WalMart. As long as it isn't dish soap, you're good to go.

I have used Armor All car wash for the past few years and I like it. Between that and the Cali Wiper my wax lasts a long time.

Lemon Joy works great.....

Thanks for all the replies!

I'm going to give the Meguiar's NXT a try.

If someone fanatical as FlipTrac uses it, it must be good!:D

Try to avoid "soap and waxes" in one...those don't do a good job at being soap, or wax. I use, or used I should say, Meguairs soap. Smells like strawberries or soemthing. Been a while since I used it. Just remember to follow up with a good wax job if you want the vehicle to stay clean. Weekly, or even daily, touch-ups with a detail spray is good.
