Resetting the Oil Change Need message on the '07 ST?:

I had the oil changed early (@ 3K) on my '07 ST. At about 4700 miles I started getting a warning that "Oil change will be needed soon" on the message display every time I started the engine (hitting reset removes the message). At 5000 miles the message changes to "Oil Chnage Required", a much more urgent tone.



Does anyone know how to I reset the milage counter for the oil change message? It's not mentioned in the Owners manual that I can find?

it is in the owners manual. i just looked at it.

Just a guess, but press and hold the reset button for longer then, say 10 seconds.



-Or, if it's like a Honda, with the truck off, press and hold the reset button, then start the truck and keep it depressed until the message goes away.



I tried finding the manual online, but Ford hasn't posted it yet.
