Help the famous sport trac Green Machine to live again. The transmission want out on her on 08/30/2018 at 11:00pm. So you like to see Green Machine run again please help.


What makes Green Machine a legend? Next to nothing is stock in this vehicle, courtesy of Zabtek, along with other racing component brands, this was the project truck of Todd Zabbia, whom I purchased the truck from 1 he ago. Here is the list of works he had performed on her that are still installed in this truck.


In her hay day about 2004 to 2010 she was the highest HP normally aspirated ST out there. Quickest 1/4 mile. She had secretes, things I will never share with any one. Yes the motor that’s in it is original, but there were others.

She was a beast on the street and track with the 4.0. High 13,s. Almost 300 rear wheel HP. All the dyno sheets and 1/4 mike times are out on the web. I’m not disputing most bolt ins suck, but I dynoed everything and she was the legend on the MYsT pages.

Let the trans shop you take it to. Know about the upgraded converter, shift kit and the sct program is also made changes to the the shifts. Otherwise they will put a stock crate trans and converter in it.
Other than that Im not sure of the help you need.

He wants you to pay for getting it fixed. He believes it to have historical significance to the club because of the previous owner, so thinks the club should want to pay for repairs. He's been posting the links to his "go fund me" type page in a couple of ST Facebook groups. I don't think anyone feels sorry enough to donate though. I think he forgot to post his link to the $$$ donation page here though. Looks like a copy/paste from his Facebook posts other than the link missing.

What makes his any more historical, than any of us. Most all of us have most of the same upgrades. Probably been members longer than him. Many of us are retired on fixed incomes. So does' that mean I can hit him up for $$$$ when I need it.
I say get a second job and save that $$$ for repairs. Or if he thinks it is historical enough use a a CC or get a personal loan.....I find a go fund me over a Trac rediculus....LOL..and..Crazy....Park it until the $$$ is saved..

These are the things that make is special, and we should chip in for it.

You should have seen the video of it on Facebook. Someone was filming it for him. It showed the truck rolling backwards while he was flooring it on and off for about a minute. Todd Z commented that he should probably stop that before he blows up the motor as well. He responded that he just wanted to verify that the transmission no longer worked... lol

Also just noticed he's admin of one of the groups on Facebook and has used his power as admin to make his post looking for $$$ a sticky announcement at the top of the page.
