Right rear door makes clicking sound when locking doors uses key fob????

I noticed when I got out of my Trac tonight and locked the doors the right rear door make a loud clicking (TICK) sound. Never did this before, anyone else have this happen or know how to fix it ??? I hate odd new noises, I would like to fix it asap. Thanks in advance.

your latches and lock mechanisms need to be lubricated... look at the pull knobs while locking or unlocking, you'll see which one does not move a lot or at all...

The door lock actuator is going bad.

A lot of electrical things going bad can be saved by cleaning and lubrication. I get a lot of rain over here and often when someone says this is bad, I clean and lube and it works fine. I use a lot of spray contact cleaner. Great on the computer too.

My drivers door makes a buzzing noise. About every 5th locking. Been doing it for 6 years. It always locks, though.

Yeah, mine still locks. It only made the sound last night and when I locked the doors using the door lock button it didn't do it.

mine did it for a long time, then I lubed it and it went away... perhaps it was a coincidence...
