Direct fit if her Explorer is a Sport or Sport Trac but WILL NOT fit a regular 4 door Explorer. The bolt pattern is fine but they will stick out past the fenders. Spacers would make it even worse.

Those will fit but for the price I would look else where. Seriously, I like these rims because I have the same set on my '03 ST but you can get new aftermarket rims for way cheaper then that. Look around some more, especially on CL because you can find nice rims with good tires for that price if not less. I'll help you find something better then those. I'll start looking for something better/cheaper.

Not sure what you're looking for exactly, rims, rims and tires, what price range?

Here's a perfect set for ya.

thank you Jerry.

what im looking for is just rims. the ones on her explorer are corroded and leaky.

what happened was she had a ok set of tires on her truck but every few days 2 of the tires would loose air from 32 down to 20.

shes not to picky about the rims because she is thinking about getting rid of the truck next year.

she has original chrome ford ones now. so we are looking for something near stock.

Jerry

that second set looks good i will call him tomorrow

What "Explorer" does she have Bob?

BIG difference in offsets on the '03 wheels between a Sport/Sport Trac and a 4-door..........

Bob K,,They are most likely leaking at the bead. The cheapest thing is to have the shop dismount the tires. Wire brush the bead area. Use bead sealer on the rims. It is a black rubber liquid.

I have had to do this on older aluminum rims before. Works good. Also not imposible they got some bad valve stems. or the stems were a mm off. Too large for the hole they tear going in. Too small they leak. I have had that before also.

Im thinking the rim beads have a corrsion build up. If all four do this.

Also if determined the rims them selve have become porous. you can clean the inside. And spray several coats of urethane. That will seal tham.
