Anyone know the retail value for these subs in the link below?

What are your opinions regarding Rockford Fosgate?

I'm shopping around right know for a DVD/CD head unit, 6x8's for the doors, sub/subs, and a couple of amps to drive these. I had an alpine head unit, couple 10" MTX thunders, and MTX amp in my old volks which I thought sounded decent.

Recommendations anyone?

Usually if I buy subs from someone, I want them to hook it up too see if they work well. If he can do that then that would be good.....if they sound like there worth $200 to you, then go ahead and get them, (make sure to see what amp he's running to them) can't really complain about rockford, personally I like there amps...you can also email him and ask for the part number, go on internet and find reviews, see what people are saying about there performance......good luck aloha chee

All good equipment imo. That looks like a P3SD210 or P3SD410. $249 MSRP. Fantastic subs. Almost bought one myself last week but the final cost would have been more than just using one of my JBL 1202Ds (better specs than the PS3D212).

I'm thinking it's one of their loaded enclosures. P3L-S10 $389 MSRP. The downside to their loaded enclosures is that they put them in the minimum airspace volume instead of their recommended volume.

You can get these at Best Buy or online for way way less than MSRP.

I don't think his price is very good. I think you could probably build ( or have built) a box with more airspace and cover it with the carpet you want, with a equal or better sub for less money.

A brand new P3L- S12 is only $299 at Best Buy and about $195 on eBay. That would also fit perfectly behind your rear seat. Still...they cram a sub that needs 1ft^3 sealed into a .62 ft^3 sealed box.

It should have awesome freq response though. You would want a 300.1 mono block to power that. You could probably get away with a 500.1 but that's really close to it's max rms on the 10" P3.

You need to find out if it's a 2ohm or 4ohm final load. Most amps don't play full power with a 4ohm final load. Just about everything out there uses a 2ohm final load to get the full rms rated power.

I really liked the P3 I saw in the store. The problem I had was the final ohm load would only get 1/2 of my amps power so I decided to keep one of my 12s and just get a new amp that plays full rms at 4ohm. I also wanted more low end bass so I decided to make a slot ported enclosure. This is a more efficient design and I will get more from the 500w rms I'm going to push at it. Over all it's a little cheaper in price in superior in specs this way. My new box is going to run about $140. The amp I'm buying used for about $250. I'm using my old Alpine HU and my curent JBL subs. All I need to buy is an amp kit.

I have had my Rockford 10" P2 for almost 3 years now, and I love it. For its price, Rockford is a great sub. and with it being in the ST cab, Everybody always thinks I have ethier 2 tens or a 12".
