Is it even functional? Looks like its bolted to the top of the bed and not going down to the frame. If so, that is useless.

i saw that on my day-to-day bored web surfing -- he's asking a rediculous amount of money in my own opinion -- im gonna go against the grain thought and say i like the look, but only would buy it if it where functonal, which i'm 99.9% positive its not.

I dont like the look. I think it would be nice if it was the type that the back bars went into the bed, not mount on the top so close to the tailgate.

Also where it is mounted there is NO structural support at all.... That thing will fly off in a roll over..



It is a rare part though...

The composite bed would shatter before it held up the trac. IMO, just excess weight in the way..

Someone tell the guy that there was no 06. And if he's trying to make folks think it will fit an 07, I doubt that it would due to the differences in the bed widths/lengths.
