I'm looking into buying a set of rims for my 2001 Sport Trac 2wd. I really like the Showwheels Streeters (http://showwheelsusa.com/). They are 20 inch, 8.5 inch in width and the bolt pattern is 5x114.3. I've got a few questions: will they fit my car without adjustments? Does anyone know if these rims are of good quality? Do they influence the quality of driving?

The company that sells them is Ron's Rims. Anyone bought from them before? I'm a little hesitant buying from the internet but there's no other way: I live on a very small caribbean island and there's no nice rims for sale here. The least thing I can do is check the company that sells them over the net.

Thanks,

Bas

The 5x114.3 is indeed the same as 5x4.5 bolt pattern, so that'll be ok. But they don't have the other specs on the Streeter rim listed such as the hub center bore.

Thanks for helping me along.

Thanks for the info Eddie. I looked it up. For the 8.5" width rim showwheels lists either an offset of 35P or 12P. So I can't use them on a 2001 Sport Trac? They do have the rims with 0 offset too, but than with a 10" width. Is that any better?

with 10" rim you will need to go to a negative offset. that will bring the will outward.

The factory wheels are 7" wide with a 12+ offset. that should help you make some calculations.
