Roof Rack question...

Hey all, can anyone tell me what the material the roof rack is made out of on my 03 ST? Thanks!

I have a 2003 also and I think it's just very hard plastic or some type of composite material.

I know the racks are plastice but I think they have a metal reinforcement bar inside of them. I bought aftemarket cross bars from eBay because mine didn't come with them. I could be wrong. I have an '03 with a Yakima LoadWarrior basket and spare tire in it with lights and the have no problems with the weight affecting it.
