I just repaced my spark plugs with bosch platnums but did not change the wires I have 125000k on my truck and have noticed in the last week what I would describe as a hick up. It happens when I am at a dead stop and go to excelerat I have a small heasitation it starts to go and hick ups and then goes but it only happens when I am stopped, I have also noticed that when I back out of the drive way some time and go from reverse to drive I git the same problem. I spent some time today and cleaned my IAC and it was bad looked like tar inside black and sticky I also bought a fuel filter but have not yet installed it could noy fget the old one off.... I am hoping that I got some bad fuel last fill up but am looking for any Ideas...

Thanks for you time...

GET RID OF THE BOSCHS!!! GO BACK TO OEM...MOTORCRAFT Plugs only!!

Resistance changes per plug per manaufacturer..so it can create problems!!

Change the wires, you may not have one back on correctly, or have a bad wire...

ALSO, the Bosh plugs do not work too good with the ford ignition systems, they have caused many problems with the 4.0 Sport Trac..
