Another example of the "Snake Oil" that always appears when gas prices get high. Can't be of value since what they say violates the laws of thermodynamics. Ya can't get something for nothing and it always takes more energy to make the something than the energy you get from the something. Don't any of you waste your money on this stuff.

HHO gas, is invented by Denny Kline, he has a patent on it. He has tested it on his Ford Escort and he is talking to one US auto maker about using it (let's hope it is FORD)

He has tested this on his escort and a ford ranger.

It's not just used for automotives

Read all about it. And like his website states. Just because it's never been done..doesn't mean it is not possible.

It's an energy source converter. not a gas making machine.

More power (excuse the pun) to him if he can make it a success (especially, if the US automaker he is talking to chooses to invest and install the technology in their vehicles)

Imagine all the possiblities if this is the new US made fuel???

This was the last part of the Wikipedia post:

HHO gas or Klein gas is an oxyhydrogen mixture made by water electrolysis, which has been trademarked Aquygen by the firm Hydrogen Technology Applications. Dennis Klein's patent states that his electrolyzer differs from Yull Brown's in that it lacks the electric arc feature. The claimed applications of HHO are practically indistinguishable from the original claims of Yull Brown. The HHO trademark is associated with an unproven state of matter called magnegases, and a discredited theory about magnecules, which is the basis for a number of fraudulent claims, and third party water-fuelled car scam attempts.

im with roger... but it would be cool! heck, water power cars...

thatd open all new possibilites and problems!

the rust! lol haha

i ran into some one who did this on the forums and stated they would let me know how his MPG is. he only did it 8 days ago....i also want to do this to my trac.

for a mear 6995.oo plus tax and the other part charges and labor and charges to redesign your engine and gas tank, each, all of us could do it! :)

Why does it take 56 days to see the results. If I got 40% improvement in gas mileage, I would know it in just a a day or two or a week at the most, when I did not have to buy gas and still had nearly a half a tank left ???

My real question with the doubters is that they always quote onter doubters who have a different scientific theory. If you doubt it, it will only cost you about $50 for the plans, and $60 for the parts and you can try it yourself. If it does not work, you will be able to give a first hand testimonial from experience...not theories. If id does work and saves you 40% on gas, then who cares what others think.

I don't know if it works or not, but like all scientific theories, there are many intelligent scientific minds that will agree or disagree. I have heard of the method of using an electolytic process to extract hydrogen from water. Most scientist claim it is possible but feel that the amount of hydrogen extracted is not sufficient to power a vehicle. The inventor was discredited because it was learned that he was using a small quantity of gasoline with the hydrogen to power the prototype car he converted to run on water.

While a lot of these kinds of thinks are truely snake-oil scams, this one is in that grey area that may be over-hyped, but there could be some shreds of truth to it.

I wouldn't be able to afford the water to wash the Trac. You know if everyone ran water the price would skyrocket. Expecially during the drought seasons. If we continue to pay, they'll continue to sell. No matter the type of liquid.

Brian T,

Yep, we will eventually be importing our water from the middle-east...which is mostly desert.:lol::lol::lol:

I'm inclined to think this one is bogus, but I think perhaps the best thing about the skyrocketing price of gasoline is that it DOES prompt an increase in innovation and makes alternative technologies more viable. The old adage - "necessity is the mother on invention" is true and we're needing a gasoline alternative more each day. Hopefully we really do have a new technology being developed in someone's garage and it will not be squashed or bought out by the "Evil Empire."
