Rusted seat tracks

Owner of a 2007 model. Have noticed that the seat tracks of the two front seats, one electric/one manual look as if they are rusting. Wondering if others have noticed the same, and if so what have you done about it. I'm concerned since the truck is fairly new and I have another car twice its age without such a problem. Thanks.

my '04 tracks were rusty when new. All my life I noticed most cars. They dont paint the tracks. Sometimes only the part thatbolts to the floor. Also they look like they were stored outdoors.

I have an '07 as well, and use this AMSOIL Heavy Duty Metal Protector on my seat tracks:

It's easily sprayed on, then sets up to a dry lubricant. Excellent for chains, garage door tracks, battery terminals, parking brake cables, etc. Very versatile product.
