I just re-tuned my truck using the xCal2, with a different tune for my supercharged Trac, It made a WORLD of difference in the way it ran. I mean it was AMAZING before, after the 2nd tune though...wow...just WOW.

A diesel can gain a LOT of horsepower just with a tune, usually 100+ horsepower. Once you add a larger, free-flow exhaust and put a more favorable intake on 'em, they can get insane amounts of horsepower with just a tune. My brother has a diesel, F250, he's got nearly everything Banks sells on that stupid thing (he probably could have bought a corvette cheaper), it's the fastest truck I had ever ridden in until I got my supercharger installed. I know first hand that a diesel can positively SCREAM with the right tune.
