Seats Question

I have been pondering the idea of removing my rear 60/40 rear seat and replacing it with two seats and a nice console. Would the original 40 and another 40 work on the brackets given or am I going to have to add some hardware? Heres another idea.... Recently I was looking at a 03 Explorer Sport that was for sale and saw that the rear seats are 50/50 and matched my interior color scheme perfectly. Was wondering if anyone knew whether or not they could be fit inside my Trac. Or if anyone has done this. Thanks!

The 40 seat requires brackets to be made for it to work.....



I do not know about the 03 ex seats..

hmmm..... not overly familar with making brackets but on a scale 1-10 how hard would this project be to tackle....

i know some explorers came with buckets in the rear with a center console





or is that what you ment by 50/50?
