I'll bet your hitting your turn stops. From the factory they were either not greased or use a poor quality grease. You will see ball on the spindle and a concave area on the lower control arm where the ball goes into during a sharp turn. As the suspension gives the ball moves within this concave area and make a nasty noise.

Grease both the ball and the concave area with a quality marine grease.

Problem solved in most cases...
