shift pressure

got the sct xcal3 today and has on there where you can change the "shift pressure" for each gear change. is that how firm it changes gears like it will give you more of a kick? or something totally different that i prolly shouldn't mess with? just wondering, thanks

Yes, BUT give the truck a week to settle in before you mess with it... IF you make it too firm you may lock the trans in 2 gears or cause the truck to chirp the serp belt during shifts and damage something,..
