shimmy shake at hwy spped

Got fresh rubber, wheels balanced and alignment done. Still have a shimmy at 60 -70 mph? Any thoughts at what the root cause would be.

Hey Paul. I had the same exact thing happening on my 2008 V8. Turns out that the driveline carrier support bearing was torn. They replaced the entire shaft and bearing for about $1k! Not cheap but it no longer vibrates/shimmies anymore. I also noticed a knock when braking sometimes or backing up over a curb there would sometimes be a knock. Hope this helps your situation. Thanks Ted and ouch on that cost, I will add it to my future to do list. Thankfully not my daily driver in the Summer mostly on two wheels till the snow flies. Cheers!
