should I buy or rebuild

Ok so my truck has chewed its timing chain guide and has 150k on it. Should I just sell it and buy a newer one or is replacing the guide worth it? I can not seem to find one as nice as mine for under 8,000. I have a job 2 2001 xlt with cloth seats.

Don, if you are partial to your ST, then I say do what ever you gotta do. If you just love STs in general, then find a replacement.

I would put in a 5.0 engine if I were to have a rebuild done! But I can tell you that I have had both the 2004 Trac and now the 2008 STA. I LOVE MY STA!



Although, right now is the best time to buy a new vehicle, buying a NICE used Trac would not be a bad thing either! The choice is yours.....but If I did not want to buy a new trac I woudl def buy a 2wd 04 and drop it and add the 5.0 Engine!!!!
