I know signal mirrors have been on gen 1 ST owners list of mods and these seem to be a really good price on clearance stock. They are listed for the Ranger but my understanding is the Ranger and 1st gen ST used the same mirror glass.

Nice, The more I see these on cars, that are in front of me. The more I like the Idea. I might jump on it.

Problem is Im behind now on about 6 projects. Not all Trac related.

No oomph in me to tackle any of them....LOL:bwahaha:

I installed a set of these exact mirrors in both my 04 & my 05.

They fit perfectly.

(That's my poor departed 04 in the background with a tarp over the roof).

Nice Jon! Roush Thunderbolt logo looks cool too. :supercool:

Are the mounting base and stud bolt pattern the same?

swhawaii,

I guess I wasn't clear on what I did, LOL.

I installed the Thunderbolt mirror glass in my stock mirror housings.

That part was pretty easy.

The wiring part took up more time.

Got it, glass and wiring only. Oh well. :banghead: LOL

Question I also have an 04 and I have power mirrors. Mirrors move but the housing does not just to clarify. When I checked on Ebay for these with my year and model it said would not work for my This part is not compatible with 2004 Ford Explorer Sport Trac XLT Sport Utility 4-Door. Yet others with the 04 can use them. Is this a case perhaps, of a ranger part that ebay etc does not know will work for the Gen 1's ?
