Some forums I participate in have regional areas in the forums. And, it's been a great tool to get people together for meets and gatherings. The Focus forum we have 24-30 Foci show up once a month for Pizza, information and a little car show.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

SST

I think it's a bad idea and would dilute the main forum too much. I like having one area to check and read for everything, not sub-categories like some forum sites.

Iam like Darin. I would hope not to dilute the main forum.

What I would like to see is maybe a icon added. It could show those that are in you region. when you are signed in.

Then maybe a regional forum to switch to. I enjoy, talking with members from all over though. It would be cool to know who lives in your state or city or region, without finding out through their profile..:D

I don't know what the best way is but yes I would like to know other owners in my area. One more possible suggestion since we are talking about ways to improve/navigate the site. This forum format is definately outdated. As it is now only new topics go to the top of the list. In the new style formats any topic even if it is a year old will go to the top of the list if someone makes an entry. That way old topics can be revisited without searching through pages and pages of topics that are no longer relevant. I am new to the forum and wish to thank whoever it is that setup and is administering this website. It is a very friendly site with a ton of good people and good information.
