I read on another thread that going from size 255 to size 265 tires equalled to better mileage but at the loss of some pulling power. The comment on the loss of pulling power is vague to me and instead of asking on that thread I thought it better to start another here.
I like the look of the slightly larger 265 tires on the stock 16-inchers and I welcome any improvement to mileage so I hope the claim is true, however I'm not sure I'm willing to part with any loss of power when taking off at a green light. I'd appreciate any feedback that'll shed some light on this.
I have an 04, 2WD, 4.10LSD, stock wheels/tires (255), Volant, Flowmaster, and XCal2
