I have had the Revo Dueler 265/75R16 but since I lifted the Trac (TT/SL/3" lift) the front passenger tire rubs against something (don't know what yet). Soon I will need a new set of tires but I am not sure what size to buy anymore. I wanted to buy bigger tires to fill the empty space as a result of the lifting but with the current ones rubbing I don't think I can go any bigger but smaller.

I have a 4.10 gear and Trac is a 2wd.

What do you guys suggest?

Thank you in advance, JD.

Sounds like it is rubbing the sway bar....

It is not a big deal.... I would investigate what is rubbing, because several member shave larger than that with no issues....

It also could just be rubbing some plastic that you could trim off...

JD, I have the same size tires and rubbing on sharp left turns only. After investigating with the wheels turned I discovered that my tires are rubbing on the front sway bar. I think this has more to do with the width of the tire. It could be a shot in the dark, and I'm sure someone will chime in, but maybe wheel spacers will give you the extra space inside? Then, maybe you can go a little bigger? Again, I could be wrong, but if I were to get new tires again, I would probably investigate it.

When I put that size tire on, I got a bit of rubbing on the passenger rear wheel well lining when making left turns. I had to cut away a bit of the plastic to fix it.

I had them on my old ST and it was rubbing the sway bar. I think the bar is towards the front of the wheel well? If so, then left turn rubbing should leave a mark on the right sway bar. Just look for the clean, shiny spot.

Thanks for all the responses.

It is rubbing the sway bar, I checked it.

Now, what size tires should I get? Bpoche, your recommendation is very good but wouldn't they look small since I have it lifted?

Thanks in advance, JD.

this ST has 255 85 16 with a 3.5" lift i would go with a aggressive tire rather than a street tire

my tires are made in the 255 85 16

would a tire that is 10" wide fit on a stock rim? I'm assuming, JD, that you are running stock wheels. If so, you may want to be careful that any tire you get will fit, unless you intend on getting new tires and wheels.

You may be able to place a split collar on your sway bar to re center it so it does not rub.

Sounds like it shifted a little...

Or stay with your setup now and just deal with the rubbing..
