This is a Public Service Announcement grin :



Skyline is NOT a movie--it is a tech demo. It flaunts surprisingly good CG, which annihilates the cg seen in recent movies. (District 9 especially).



However, it has nothing else. No plot, no character development, severely lacking writing, and no resolution. :yawn:



If you were expecting Independence Day or War of the Worlds based on the previews (the aliens look incredibly similar), you Will be Disappointed.

I think Skyline is a slam at the Christian rapture. Skyline's sub title is "Don't look up". Meaning if you look up you will be taken by aliens. The Bible (Luke 21:18)says, "Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near."
