Ok all you experts - 2001 ST - Stock - 6 Cyl

have a slight miss - can feel it when in gear idling at stop lights etc...-

starting by looking at Spark wires - is there a spec on the wires???? read this on the internet so it must be true :

smaller ones at 6-7 ohms

longer > 30" at 9-11 ohms

what next if not that -

can you check the coil module - if so what is the secs to look at ...

I mean it runs fine after idle - no hestiation - power on is good - cruise is good

give me some help here ...it is driving me nuts ...

OEM style wire(filiment) will ohm to around 4000ohms per foot.

Spiral core wires will ohm to 150 to 200 ohms perfoot.

You can still have a leaky wire.

One of MANY things I've learned here. Water spray works really well in the dark.

I've had the same symptoms on my '03 for quite some time...the fixes are aways the same no matter where you look, (google, etc....) I have tried them all and replaced parts that needn't be replaced. I don't think anyone really knows the reason for the occasional miss at stopped and in gear....it's all easter egging and no real solution....IMHO:grin:
