Slipping when downshifting?!

I have a problem other than the normal 2-3 flare (which I don't have).



Under heavy acceleration from normal cruising speed, like passing another car, Jade slips when downshifting to passing gear. It's really annoying, and I've thrown the tach needle to redline twice already. Anyone have any ideas?

dirty or stuck check ball in the valve body.

If you want to try something before tearing the transmission down, you can try auto-rx. It will clean the tranmission out. Alot of people on the bob the oil guy sight have used it. I used it before switching to redline. I wasn't having to much trouble before, so I can't help you on whether it is good for slipping problems._Ron

I thought you posted a while back you had the 2-3 flair ??

I did, it went away after I replaced the broken elbow and reset the computer.
