Rob,

You have the front parts at the link below. Where am I overlooking the rear?

Also, I've expanded my viewing to the Akebono ceramic pads, so the Hawk ones don't help. As for the rotors, I'm looking at the PS Cryo's. Obviously, I'm still in the looking phase... :)

The rear pads for the Sport Trac is the same as the 1996 to 2001 Explorers and the 2001 to 2003 (or is it 2004) Sport model.

The Power Slot website lists these part numbers for the rear:

8552 PSL & 8552 PSR. Maybe this well help with your search.

Rob,

It's funny--you tell me what I just read. :) I'm trying to do the midlife crisis for the Trac, and at this point, some Akebono's on stock rotors should be much better than my stock brakes. There's no way my rotors are even close to needing to be replaced at 35,000.

So far I have the shocks, brakes, and tires chosen. I need to decide whether to go with a complete exhaust or have a shop stick on 2.5" with a Flowmaster 50 Delta. Decisions, decisions.

Hey SST,

I think you need to do a little proof reading of the info on your site about those rotors.

The text for the 2WD front both say they are for the right side but the Part numbers are different.

Your drop down list has just the opposite problem, the Part numbers are the same but the included description is the different.

Looks like some finger checks going on there. lol ;)
