For the first time in the ten years that I've owned the Trac, I'm snowbound. There must be more than a foot of snow out there in a 25 mph wind. I was able to back out in 4x4, but started getting hung up where the plow made a 3 foot pile of snow at the end of the driveway. I gave up a pulled her back in the garage. I'd start shovelling, but it's still snowing and we're supposed to get another 6 inches.

BTW, I have Michelin LTX MS tires and live just east of Minneapolis/St. Paul.

We have been watching on The Weather Network how you folks are getting hammered. Stay safe and stay indoors. We get several of those storms every year here.

I'm dreaming of a WHITE CHRISTMAS...you should be used to winters like this by now. Hey Mark, are you done with school yet? I do so enjoy those pictures of our surgical torture devices!. Bob :grin:

Here's a view out my living room window. That's a drift. Note the cheap plastic lawn chair. The whole sidewalk is covered in a five foot drift. I can't get out my door... or my driveway.

I just heard the roof of the Metrodome collapsed. MNF game was cancelled, not that the Giants would have beat the Vikings! Hope you got plenty of beer and a well stocked pantry. Keep us posted. Bob :haveabeer:

I took some pictures at my house but forgot the camera today. I live just north of the Twin Cities and you can barely see the 42" high fence along side my yard. Some is due to the shoveling of ~17" of snow we had on the driveway. I shoveled 4 times in one day. I really need to get a snowblower! This is the first big storm we've had since we got 28.5" of snow in 1991 - in the great MN halloween blizzard that I trick or treated in. Luckily school was closed the following day so we could enjoy all our candy!

i hope we dont get much of that crap this year, i HATE it :fire:

we got the rain part of your storm, almost 3" and heavy winds.

be safe :haveabeer:

btw, pics of last year 30" on long isle

Right now there are about 300 motorists stranded on the Highway outside of London.

They have been there for over 24 Hours. Part of me feels terrible for these people, the other part feels like slapping them in the back of the head. Had they listened to the local media and weather reports, they would have known that the highway is impassable and CLOSED.

I got the bottoms for my feet wet this morning when I went out to get the paper.

The street was wet cuz the fog was heavy enough to get the streets wet over night.

It's just terrible out there. I guess I better hibernate for the winter. Oh, wait. we never have much of a winter here. LOL
