Soft topper

Has anyone or anyone they know used a soft topper before. Looks like a nice idea to have either an open or closed bed whenever you need it.

I was tempted to get two shelter halves from the army surplus store and make my own soft topper. Granted, it'd look like there was a tent on the end of my truck, but it would have cost me $20.
